**MPI REQUIRED to run this manifold**
Many Rest-of-World (ROW) MQB Chassis vehicles came with factory Multi-Port Injection (MPI) and utilized a different Intake Manifold from that equipped on the North American Market.
This manifold was provisioned for an OE Fuel rail and port fuel injectors. Many of the Multi-Port Injection offerings on the market require you to modify your factory intake manifold to allow it to receive port injectors.
While this installation isn't difficult, nutserts or other threaded inserts can fail leading to a potentially dangerous fuel leak in the engine bay and the installation process is not reversible.
In efforts to reduce your installation time, and allow a completely reversible install option if you ever decided to sell, or trade the car, EQT is now carrying the European Style Intake Manifold which is MPI ready.
No more Drilling Injector holes, no more epoxy or threading nutserts into your existing manifold.

Direct Bolt-on fitment for MPI Kits
When pushing high power on the MQB EA888.3 platform, multi-port-injection is often a necessity.
The EQT Euro/ROW style intake manifold was designed as a direct bolt-on solution for those looking to install multi-port injection on their North American EA888.3-equipped vehicles.
There is no modifications required to ensure proper fitment, and because you won't have to modify your existing manifold, returning the vehicle to stock won't cause any issues.

ROW vs. North American Intake Manifolds
ROW (rest of world/euro) EA888.3 vehicles come equipped with a low-output port-injection setup utilizing a modified intake manifold from the factory.
On North American EA888.3 vehicles, they do not come standard with port-injection. This means that the intake manifold, while similar, does not accommodate the fuel rail and injectors without modification.
If you plan to install port-injection on a North American vehicle, your factory intake manifold will need to be drilled out. Alternatively, a more reversible solution is to purchase a ROW-spec intake manifold, such as the one shown here.

Looking for maximum power?
The OEM European / rest of world intake manifolds are optimal for most situations when pushing power on the EA888.3 platform. However, if you are looking to push your car with BIG POWER (upwards of 40PSI), we highly recommend upgrading to a billet intake manifold such as the one from JDY Performance.
