RRP has been super busy developing their own Gen 5 Haldex AWD Software upgrade and flashing tool known as Haldex.Flash. This allows improved power balance, cornering, braking and launch times. 

This software upgrade is available for all Quattro and 4Motion MQB vehicles made from 2014-2019 with the module part number 0CQ 907 554 (X). 

*Excluding RS Models and Audi S3 2018+* 

In its stock form the Generation 5 Haldex unit will only send 30% of its power to the rear wheels under acceleration, although it does have the ability to send up to 50%. This is only achieved in certain situations such as wheelspin and for the most part leaves the car with a 70/30 front to rear power split.  

This software allows a near perfect 50-50 power split between the front and rear wheels while under acceleration, this works wonders for overall performance in all forms of driving. 

This is all achieved while keeping factory tolerances safe within the Haldex system.  Vehicles with engine software benefit even more, the higher the power output the more prominent the front axle power is. This can lead to potential loss of traction, especially during launch conditions.
